1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PsyAtlas application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Synchro Ltd, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“Synchro,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform you (“you,” “user,” or “client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.
3. Purpose & Intended Use
PsyAtlas is a well-being and personal-development platform that:
- gives clients insights into potential psychological factors connected to everyday challenges;
- connects clients with independent practitioners or coaches (“Practitioners”) for private sessions; and
- delivers lifestyle and conflict-resolution suggestions for general wellness.
The Platform is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. All content is informational only. Always seek professional medical advice for health-related questions.
4. Practitioner Marketplace
Synchro merely facilitates introductions. Practitioners are independent contractors, not Synchro employees or agents. We do not supervise, direct, or control Practitioner services and disclaim all liability arising out of your interactions.
5. Payments
Paid services are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in Euro (€) or US Dollar (US $). By submitting a payment you agree to Stripe’s terms. Except as required by law, all purchases are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes; (b) upload content that infringes third-party rights; (c) reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform; or (d) impersonate any person.
7. User Content & Licence
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Synchro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Platform.
8. Intellectual Property
All PsyAtlas software, text, graphics, and trademarks are the property of Synchro or its licensors and may not be copied or modified except as expressly permitted.
9. AI-Generated Output
Certain features use generative artificial-intelligence models to create summaries or action plans. AI output is provided “as-is” for inspirational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
Synchro’s total liability arising out of or related to the Platform shall not exceed EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Synchro against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the Platform’s integrity.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the “Effective Date.” Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by English law. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the EEA may rely on mandatory consumer law provisions in their country of residence.
